    Hey Guys!!

I’m so behind on my podcasting, I just finally listened to this episode!! Thanks for playing my feedback and thanks for your encourgement. I thought that you would probably like to hear about an update. After talking with the Catholic kids in our youth group a little more over this past summer I learned a lot. But the main point was that their youth group just stunk and they have friends in our church so they came here. They all continue to participate and are very involved in the ministry. Like I said before, its been such a great experience getting to know these kids and getting a better understanding of their faith. We have also started to reach out to our local parish here and are planning some cooperative activities. I really felt a burden about creating a relationship with the Catholic youth group after spending some time with the group that has become involved in our youth ministry.

Also, I can really relate to your rant with the state of Catholic Youth Ministry. I think that it needs to be expanded though. Its also a big problem in many protestant churches as well. There are so many youth workers still doing ministry like it was done in the 70’s or 80’s. They refuse to change and I along with you am very frustrated that the Body of Christ has failed in so many ways to reach the youth.

Thanks for doing your part guys!!!
